Pennsylvania police normally arrest drunken people. Now they are asking for volunteers to get really, really drunk.
The cops want the volunteers to help train officers in sobriety tests, by drinking a lot.
Don't bother applying, though. Police posted the request on Wednesday and were flooded with eager volunteers. On Thursday, they said they had found enough volunteers.
Participants had to be in good health, with a clean criminal record and no history of drug or alcohol abuse.
And, of course, they have to "be willing to drink hard liquor to the point of inebriation."
The sobriety test training won't take place until April, so the volunteers have plenty of time to practise.
